The gold-to-silver ratio: how many ounces of silver buy one ounce of gold. Stackers watch it to judge which metal looks cheap against the other. A high ratio has historically favoured silver; a low one, gold. History, not advice.

Melt value
What the raw metal in a coin or bar is worth at spot, ignoring any collector premium. Enter the weight and the purity; the calculator does gold and silver both.
Premium over spot
How much you paid (or would pay) above the metal. Enter the price for the piece and its specs; you get the premium in your currency and as a percentage over melt.
Gold-to-silver ratio
Swap between metals by weight at today's spot. Enter an amount of one metal and see the equivalent value in the other, plus the live ratio.
Troy ounce ↔ gram
Precious metals are weighed in troy ounces, not the kitchen kind. One troy ounce is 31.1035 grams. Convert either way, plus kilograms.
Purity & fine weight
The actual pure metal inside a piece. Gross weight times purity gives the fine weight, which is what melt value is really based on. Karat converts to a fineness automatically.
What is my stack worth?
A quick melt-value tally for a handful of pieces. Add a row for each, choose the metal, enter weight and purity. This is a back-of-envelope total at spot, not a valuation and not a substitute for tracking every piece properly.
